Directions for Module 1 - (Target Completion: March 11)
For Module 1, students are to learn why composting is important and which of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) are positively impacted by composting. Resources to help students learn can be found on the Module 1 Resource Page.
Some of the questions that should be addressed:
After they learn, students will create a digital artifact that shares their learning with others.

Finally, you or your students should share their digital artifact(s) on Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #educomposting so that other classes can learn from your students. Also, allow your students to see what others have shared.

- Why should people and communities compost?
- How does composting help the environment?
- What problems in our community are helped by composting?
- Which UN SDGs does composting work toward achieving?

- Posters (digital, or photos of physical posters)
- Any other digital product that explains why composting is important.
